Mudahogora Jennifer discovered photography as an art, while in the College of Science and Technology (former KIST) in the Creative Design Department where she graduated from as a communication designer in 2015. They had photography classes every week where they were given a theme to work on and shared how they saw things and their understanding of the themes. What Mudahogora loved about photography is that one could express themselves and share their vision of the world. Mudahogora had her first group exhibition at Goethe Institut Kigali in 2016 and in 2018, she had her first solo exhibition at Kigali Center for Photography entitled, “Passing By”. Mudahogora searches for unseen beauty and recognizes how even the little things that are seemingly not important can be captured aesthetically with photography. Over time, she has seen how her photographs have evolved and she believes that the journey continues as she keeps learning and discovering new things about photography. Mudahogora has been doing photography for the past four years. Presently, she is interested in mood photography, minimalism, composition and still life.
