Uhorakeye

The passion for art and fashion that Uhorakeye has had, nourished her since her childhood and naturally led to the creation of “UHORAKEYE”. On a beautiful summer day, Uhorakeye was rewarded by her family with a traditional and unique name according to the Rwandan custom; a symbolic gift of a grandmother to her granddaughter, which she carries with pride. UHORAKEYE means “the reunited beauty of body and soul, the infinite light, the radiance”. A brilliance can easily be found in the incomplete lines, shapes and colours that represent her signature; a creation of images made of deconstructed ideas, repeating unfinished dreams, with a touch of nostalgia. Most of her artworks are made on ILLUSTRATOR©, a program she has mastered throughout her experience in the fashion industry.
